Learn About Research

Study opportunities are shared only when appropriate approvals, study materials, and site workflows are ready.

Understand Your Choice

Participation is voluntary. Each study explains purpose, risks, benefits, visits, privacy, and alternatives before consent.

Protect Your Privacy

Protected details belong in secure study workflows, while general email remains reserved for basic questions.

Support Around Visits

Medisana may help coordinate transportation, reminders, and HHA-supported patient services when available, appropriate, and allowed by the study.

Currently enrolling studies

Approved openings will appear here when studies are ready for public outreach.

Medisana will list sponsor- or IRB-approved study summaries only after the required materials, privacy routing, and participant-facing language are ready.

Enrollment board No public studies are listed at this time.

When a study opens, this area can show the condition area, basic age range, visit location, transportation availability, and how to request secure prescreening.

During an approved study

What participants can expect after a study is open.

  1. Pre-screening and eligibility

The study team reviews basic criteria and answers questions before any research decision is made.

  2. Informed consent

The visit explains purpose, risks, benefits, privacy, time commitment, alternatives, and the voluntary nature of participation.

  3. Study visits and assessments

Approved protocol visits may include exams, questionnaires, labs, diagnostics, medication dispensing, or follow-up check-ins.

  4. Visit support when available

Transportation coordination, reminders, and HHA-supported services may help reduce participation burden when appropriate and study-allowed.

  5. Safety monitoring

The principal investigator and study team monitor safety, document concerns, and coordinate with the sponsor, CRO, and IRB when required.

  6. Completion or withdrawal

Participants may complete scheduled visits or choose to leave the study, with guidance on how to stop safely.
